About the PORTAL

From notes, harmony and composition to studio gear, performance and the final recorded song...

Audio production is a very rich and progressive world.  A world that at the same time is large enough to without any problem hold all those who truly want to be a part of it...

With the development of technology a chance of independence was given to all of us.

In The Box offers many and the speed at which it evolves undoubtedly provokes admiration even among skeptics. Through digital domain we can achieve really amazing, surprising results. Especially if you know the corners of this world...

Studio & Knowledge Magazine was created thanks to the true passion.

It was born out of a great feeling for music, to all its genres, varieties and shades.

I think that this beautiful and noble art should always be described in a possibly most complete and interesting way, a way that will not only let you deeply understand, fell in love, but also to make yourself want to become a musician...

If you want your project to sound as good as an album recorded in a professional high end studio, you should not only have a lot of plugins, not only have the ability to handle plugins, but also have the knowledge of what equipment was used during the recording of that reference album...

How microphones were set, how did the musicians set up, what is the setup of all used studio gear. Finally you should know where and how the material was recorded.

Get to know this studio. Know what acoustics are there, what equipment it has...

You need to know the complete studio environment. You need to know what it's like to work in a real recording studio...

Knowledge in this area is never and will not be too much...

The basic premise of this portal is the widely understood development of its users.

Not only in terms of their skills but above all their imagination, which in my opinion is essential in everyday work in the studio.

Do not let the name fool you. It is not a usual magazine but a kind of independent and although a very professional mega zine.

In the original premise, it was supposed to be a kind of blog, mainly dedicated to the In The Box environment. This form however quickly evolved, turning into something more.

Something much more...

The essence of Studio & Knowledge Magazine is the possibility of universal education through the use of any available, often free technology and also by creating a modern community.

On the pages of this portal, I would like to overthrow several in my opinion of abusive and untrue myths and above all try answer to this fundamental questions:

Why music? Why sound production? Why studio?

Through studioknowmag.com I would like to remind some of today's forgotten values. Dust off the patterns that I personally consider as important...
To recall how was the music not so long ago. How the bands was presented, how much importance was applied to the visual aspect of albums.

How strong was the value of the lyrics, what was the message they conveyed and how beautifully different all these today's classic albums...

So, in the Studio & Knowledge Magazine the old will be merged with the new.

You will find out how great you can combine both, digital and analog environment.

We will discuss the latest technologies and look back through the prism of proven solutions...

You will find out how wonderful music can be, how great power is in it.

From fans and listeners you want to become creators...

I hope that the articles contained in it will allow you to better understand the current position of analogue equipment. Not only this, produced today, but above all that legendary, often historical and still in active service. I also hope you will understand why it is so important to support the analogue environment and every of still commercially available recording studios. Support people responsible for the renovation of the studio equipment. People who in the studio can do almost anything. People with wide knowledge, capable of manual editing of tapes, extensive modifications, and complicated repairs. People who unfortunately are less and less...

This portal will also be about them...

You can be sure that if something is good and useful we will write about it.

If there is anything worth checking out on the market, studioknowmag.com will tell you about it. If a product or service does not work as they should or if the promises of manufacturers or sellers prove to be unproductive, we will also write about it.

If we think something is worth and needs promotion, we will promote this on our pages.

My destination (as a founder of this site) is to show you all possible ways to achieve great results with affordable and accessible equipment, and above all to show you how important your mind, consciousness and fantasy are...

Studio & Knowledge Magazine is my beloved child. An ambitious form that I would like to systematically develop, so to be able to add more interesting and in my opinion also necessary services not yet available anywhere else. Services that would be available to any user at anytime and anywhere in the world.

I believe that I make something important. Something that can become a link between pure knowledge and comfort with a modern interactive and multimedia e-learning platform.

You think impossible and I said your wrong! Make impossible possible! That's what's only matters...

If you love music. If you can listen to it. Start creating it!

If you are not satisfied with what the media serves you, put on the band and make an album you would like to hear. Today is really possible and with Studio & Knowledge Magazine it will not only be possible but also much simpler than ever before...

I will show you that digital is also able to move. Used skillfully can cause true analog emotions...

So, here is a world that needs to be touched to fully be understood.

From simple things to complex digital-analog experiments...

Methods, techniques and secrets of working with sound.

Production and post production without secrets. From the standpoint of instrumentalist, composer, producer, sound engineer, finally musicologist and music journalist...
